Jeane & Ron Welcome You to
A Sense of Thyme
Herb Farm
Located near Lexington, Michigan, we proved the largest selection of quality herbs available in our area. Offered primarily in 3 1/2 inch pots, well rooted and grown by natural, organic methods with well over 100 varieties to choose from. With selected varieties also available in 6 inch pots and gallon containers. Combination herb planters are grown in 10 inch pots and up. Perfect for your patio or deck. We take custom orders on combination pots and customers are welcome to bring last years containers in for replanting.
During the spring and summer months we can be found at the farmer's market in front of the flea market on Mondays at the Croswell, MI stock yard. Our plants are also available in Lexington at B.R. Noble during the spring planting season. We welcome visitors to our small farm. Right now, by appoint as we can not always guarantee that we will be there when you drop by.
While we do not have a shopping cart for online sales of plants on this site. Jeane will occasionally put a few plants for sale in her etsy shop. We will let you know when we have some up. We will consider taking orders by email during the warm months based on availability. We do not ship until our cold weather leaves, usually May. Certain plants cannot be shipped to states with restrictions, particularly California.
Vegetables
We love growing our own vegetables. So, we also offer a large selection of heirloom and hybrid tomatoes, peppers. We will be growing lots of other vegetable varieties that will be available in flats at the farmer's market and the farm only. We plant close to an acre of veggies so extra produce is available as soon as it can be harvested.
Click here for the list of tomato varieties I'm growing this year.
GREENHOUSE OPEN
We will be open 1 day only. Saturday, June 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is as opportunity for anyone who lives in this area to come and select from all our stock. Monday we will be back at the Croswell Farmers/Flea Market as usual.
SEEDS
While I am in the business of selling the herb and vegetable plants that we grow, I do encourage my customers to try growing some things from seed. Some herbs and vegetables just do better when started directly in the ground. Such as lettuce, peas, beans, carrots, etc. Last year we were offering seed from Botanical Interests here. Unfortunately it is no longer available through my site. You can find their seed at local garden centers or online at their website. Other garden and herb related items may be found on my Products page.
Thank you for visiting. Please stop back often as this site is still under construction with more to be added.
